September 25th -8pm

We had a bit of a busy day.  We slept well and all woke up happy.
This morning our guide Amy who is from Guangzhou took us to the
Chen Family Ancestral Museum where we saw all forms of
traditional Chinese artwork.  It was a beautiful building and
wonderful art.  Davis had a bit of room to roam and had fun.

We then went to a local Friendship Store.  These are government
owned shopping malls.  This allowed us to replenish our baby supplies
and buy some groceries for our room.  When we got ready to leave,
the wind was blowing heavy rain sideways.  It is so fun to be wet
with children in tow.

Our whole group is back together again after being apart to pick up
our babies in different provinces.  There are 34 families and over 150
total people.  It is not easy to move us all anywhere.   It is fun to be
back together and meet everyone's children and hear about their
adventures.

This afternoon I spent about two hours filling out paperwork for
Naomi's medical appointment tomorrow and her consulate
appointment on Thursday.  Too many forms and too many people with
questions.  This was not fun.  It did give Mommy, Davis and Naomi a
chance to nap.

Tonight several families went to a local Japanese Tepanyaki Steak
house for dinner.  It was fun and the dinner was scrumptious.  We are
home in our hotel room now and the kids are settling in to bed.

I posted a new movie clip below of Naomi.  Today she found herself in
the mirror and must have played and babbled with the little girl in the
mirror for about 15 minutes.  She kept touching her and kissing her.
What fun!

Our family is really settling into a comfort zone and a schedule.  We
are happy, but look forward to being home on Saturday.

Thanks for following our journey.  We enjoy the emails from all of
you.  Keep them coming.  They bring home to our hearts here in China.
