Day 16
We are home at last. Two long travel days that went fairly well. I was sick
most of the way and Christe did not sleep much.
Naomi slept 9 hours on the 13 hour flight to the US and Davis slept about 7
hours. This was a huge blessing.
We spent the night in Los Angeles on Friday. I went to In and Out Burger and
brought hamburgers back tot he room. Yum!
After breakfast the next morning we were on our way to DFW.
Our flight arrived a little early and we had a great group of family and
friends at the airport to welcome Naomi home. She did terrific and did not
cry (or scream) at all. We were thrilled with how it all went.
She did well when we got home, but woke up every thirty minutes and
refused to be comforted. Christe had a long night. She was the only one that
Naomi would be comforted by. Finally at 5am I took Naomi out for a long
walk and then PaPa and I took her out to breakfast. She is now fast asleep.
Please pray for our bodies and hearts to adjust quickly to being home.
Pray for sweet Naomi to learn that this is home and will always be.
