Day 3
Sunday Sept. 18 - 5:30am

Well I am up early and trying to get some food in Davis.  He has fallen asleep
the last two nights during dinner.  Poor little guy.  He is having a blast right
now eating peanut butter and crackers and fruit.

We will go to church at the Beijing International Christian Fellowship this
morning.  A church only for foreign passport holders.  Then it's off to the
Great Wall, jade market, Peking Duck dinner and an acrobat show.  I may fall
asleep in my dinner tonight!

10 pm

We had another amazing day in China. The Great Wall was absolutely
spectacular. Davis loved it and wants to come back sometime. I had a
wonderful climb up six towers. Brian was sweet to stay with Davis when he
pooped out past the second tower. It's very steep, and we wanted to make
sure Davis could make it back down!

I loved the view from up the mountain. It's hard to believe the effort that
went in to building the wall. I wouldn't want to be the soldier who had to keep
watch on it, either!

We also enjoyed a traditional Peking Duck dinner tonight. It was a good meal
and fun atmosphere. And, as if we hadn't done enough already, we took in an
acrobat show tonight. It was high on Davis's to-do list while we're here. He
loved it.

But, all this pales in comparison to tomorrow. We'll fly to Nanchang
tomorrow and get Naomi at 4 pm. We are all so eager for that moment to
arrive.

Finally, thank you all for your continued prayers and sweet emails. We are
totally sensing God's presence and provision here. Please don't stop!
